Rajkummar Rao is on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Omerta. The actor once again appeared solo at a promotional event in Mumbai on April 6, 2018. Rajkummar looked dapper in a printed black shirt, black jacket and a pair of stylish denims.
The upcoming film is directed by Hansal Mehta and Rajkummar will be seen playing the role of British terrorist of Pakistani descent Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh. The story has explored about the kidnappings of westerners in India in 1994 for which Omar was arrested and served imprisonment. Omar was also responsible for plotting the murder of Wall Street journalist Daniel Pearl in 2002.
The film also stars Rupinder Nagra, Rajesh Tailang and Keval Arora. The story of the film was suggested to Hansal Mehta by actor Mukul Dev in 2005. Dev has now made his debut as a writer with Omerta. After releasing in a number of film festivals, Omerta will be releasing in theatres on April 20, 2018.
