Filmmaker Karan Johar and actor Shahid Kapoor made a stylish appearance at the airport in Mumbai on April 24, 2018. Shahid was snapped heading to Delhi and looked stylish in a white pullover and a trendy black and white pants with geometrical patterns. Karan was seen in a black t-shirt, denims and a trendy jacket as he headed to Delhi.
Johar has become the first Indian filmmaker to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds. The wax statue of the filmmaker is expected to be ready in six months time. Karan recently spoke about the kind of films that he works on and said, “I produce those films that are entirely dependent on my intuition… when I read it or synopsis that I fall in love with and want to take it further.”
Shahid is currently filming for the upcoming film Batti Gul Meter Chalu directed by Shree Narayan Singh and also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam. The film is about the escalating electricity bills and is expected to be released in theatres on August 31, 2018.
