Amitabh Bachchan and Shweta Bachchan shoot together for an ad film

Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter Shweta Bachchan is a columnist and an author and never opted for a career in films. However, the upcoming author of her book Paradise Towers, made her acting debut with her father for a brand that he endorses. Amitabh Bachchan and daughter Shweta were snapped on the sets of the ad film in Mumbai on May 21, 2018.

Amitabh was seen in a simple outfit and reminded of his character from the film 102 Not Out while Shweta appeared in a simple Indian outfit. Shweta has never been in front of cameras before and she had also expressed the reason in one of her columns in DNA. Miss Bachchan had written, “There is something about “Start sound, camera, action” that makes me freeze up and garble my speech like I have a mouth full of marbles. Being an actor and a successful one at that, is the stuff fairy-tales are made of, as you reach unimaginable heights. But it is a tough world and most people do not realise the personal sacrifices made to get to these lofty positions. A lot of my life has been shaped by these very sacrifices made by my parents.”

Amitabh Bachchan often mentions on his blogs how his daughter accompanies him to the sets and watches him while he shoots. The actor was last seen in the film 102 Not Out.
