Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, have always found support for each other in thick and thin. The Indian cricketer was awarded with the Best International Cricketer at the annual BCCI awards event held in Bengaluru on June 12, 2018. Virat attended the event with wife Anushka and received the award from veteran cricketer Ravi Shastri. The couple was snapped at the Mumbai airport as they returned from Bengaluru on June 12, 2018.
Anushka and Virat looked tired and walked hand in hand as they made their way out of the airport. The Band Baaja Baraat actress kept her look casual in a white t-shirt, checked pants and a denim jacket while Virat was seen in a formal blue shirt and blue trousers. The BCCI during the event stated, “Following his phenomenal show in the past two seasons, Team India captain Virat Kohli will be presented with the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for the best international cricketer (2016-17 and 2017-18) at the BCCI Awards to be held in Bengaluru on June 12”.
Anushka at the ceremony beamed with pride as Virat collected his award.
