The much awaited film Sanju, is ready to be released in theatres on June 29, 2018. Dia Mirza along with director Rajkumar Hirani promoted the upcoming film at an event in Mumbai on June 13, 2018.
Dia, who has also worked in the film Lage Raho Munna Bhai, will also be seen in the film Sanju playing Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata Dutt. The actress was seen posing with the signature motorcycle with a side car that was used by Sanjay in the film Lage Raho Munna Bhai.
The makers of the film recently released the official trailer which drew a lot of appreciation from the audience, who cannot wait to watch the actual film. However, one of the activist filed a complaint against one of the scenes from the trailer which has shown leaking toilets of the jail where Sanjay Dutt was lodged. The complaint mentioned that the scene has shown the jails in India in bad light as it is not the case.
The film is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajkumar Hirani and will be released in theatres on June 29, 2018.
