Cast and crew of Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi launched the official trailer of the film at an event in Mumbai on July 25, 2018. Diana Penty, Sonakshi Sinha, Aparshakti Khurana and others were present at the trailer launch event of Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi.
The entire cast arrived in a bus which has been made specifically for the promotions of the film. Sonakshi looked pretty in a mustard yellow ethnic outfit while Diana was seen in a checked jumpsuit in a black jacket. The trailer begins with an incident that happened in a Chinese city, where Sonakshi Sinha is detained by the police thinking that she is Harpreet Singh AKA Happy.
This is when Jimmy Shergill enters, who is depressed as his wedding could not be solemnized as his bride has run away. A few comic twists have made the story even more interesting than the sequel. The film is written and directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Anand L Rai and Krishika Lulla.
Happy Phir Bhag Jayegi also stars Dipika Kakkar, Ali Fazal, Abhay Deol and Piyush Mishra and will be released in theatres on August 24, 2018. Click here to watch the official trailer.
