Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy and others launched IMAX trailer of Gold

Lead actors of the upcoming film Gold launched the IMAX trailer of the film in Mumbai on August 1, 2018. Akshay Kumar, Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor and others were present at the launch event. The actors also launched the motion poster of the film at the event. Producer Ritesh Sidhwani was also present at the event.

The upcoming sports oriented flick is helmed by Reema Kagti and is based on the first ever Olympic Gold medal victory of India in the game of Hockey after India’s Independence. Akshay in the film will be seen playing the role of a hockey coach named Tapan Das while Mouni will be seen playing his wife.

Gold will also mark TV actress Mouni Roy’s debut in Bollywood. During the event Akshay was asked if he would be interested in making a biopic on his life to which the actor said that he will neither make a film or write a book on himself. Akshay added that he would look like a fool if he thinks of making a biopic on his life.
