Bollywood actress Dia Mirza, who was last seen in the film Sanju, was at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018 held in Mumbai on August 22, 2018. The actress was present at the event to talk on fashion for sustainable development with the UN.
Dia is UN Environment’s goodwill ambassador for India and says that she supports eco-friendly fashion and would also like to do her own clothing one day. The actress at the event said, “I Support sustainable fashion and I am always wearing garments made by designers in a sustainable way. I would love to do a line someday”.
Dia added that having popular names talking about causes helps to spread more awareness. The actress has made her mark in the film industry with the films like Dum, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein, Salaam Mumbai and Parineeta. Dia, who is married to Sahil Sangha left a mark in films with the film Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein which also starred R Madhavan.
