The last couple of months went extremely busy for Deepika Padukone. After all the wedding festivities and honeymoon in Sri Lanka, the actress has got back to work and was snapped at an event in Mumbai on January 8, 2019.
Deepika looked refreshed and cool in a white bodycon outfit and a matching jacket with a cool pair of sunglasses. The actress recently celebrated her 33rd birthday and also launched her own website www.deepikapadukone.com. Deepika was all smiles and poses for the paparazzi at the event.
The actress was last seen in the film Padmaavat, in which she played the role of Queen Padmaavati. Padukone will now begin work on her upcoming flick Chhapaak which is helmed by Meghna Gulzar and is based on the life of the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Reports say that the actress might also share the screen space with husband Ranveer Singh.
On the other hand Ranveer will soon be seen playing the role of legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev in a biopic. There are reports that the makers of the film have approached Deepika to play the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia.
