The much awaited flick Gully Boy has finally hit the theatres on February 14, 2019. The makers of the film hosted a special screening event in Mumbai on February 13, 2019.
The screening event saw the presence of the lead actors of the film Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt along with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar. Other attendees of the event included Dia Mirza, Ananya Pandey, Jim Sarbh, Shweta Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar, Kiran Rao, Javed Akhtar and others. Alia for the screening event looked pretty in a yellow outfit with floral prints. Ranveer was seen in an olive green track suit.
The film is helmed by Zoya Akhtar and prodyced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. Gully Boy is based on the real life rappers from Mumbai who wish to make it big in the industry.
Ranveer will be seen playing the role of a rapper while Alia will be seen as his love interest. The film also stars Kalki Koechlin, Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Vijay Raaz.
