Shilpa Shetty shares new picture of daughter Samisha

Indian actress Shilpa Shetty and husband Raj Kundra were recently blessed with a baby girl through a surrogate. The actress had shared the news on her social media accounts and since then she has been sharing a few glimpses of the new family member. While the entire nation is under lockdown, Shilpa shared a glimpse of her daughter who has now turned 40 days old.

The Dhadkan actress shared a picture which showed her holding the little one while husband Raj Kundra and son Viaan Kundra can be seen besides her. Shilpa shared that the completion of 40 days for a baby holds a significant importance as it marks the first milestone for a mother and the child.

The actress further elaborated on the importance and shared, ideally she should have stepped out of the house with the baby for the first time and take her to a temple for blessings. However, since things are not favourable they could not do so but sought blessings at their temple at home.

Shilpa in her post also shared that it is also important for people to be thankful for what they have and added that for the next 20 days she would document one thing that she is grateful for everyday. The actress once again became a parent to baby Samisha through surrogacy on February, 2020.
