While thousands of families are left without work, they have no source to feed their families due to the lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi due to the coronavirus pandemic. Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has stepped up and pledged to feed thousands of families in Mumbai , who were on daily wage. The Munna Bhai MBBS star said that in the time of crisis that the entire country is facing, everyone is helping each other in some or other way.
Sanjay added that helping people also includes staying at home and practicing social distancing. The actor said that he is trying to do his bit to help as many people as he can. Apart from donating food, the actor also shared a video on social media which showed him walking and running and appealed his fans to stay at home, exercise and at healthy food amidst the lockdown.
Sanjay Dutt has also joined hands with Sawarkar Shelters, who helps the needy amidst the COVID-19 crisis. It covers the suburban areas between Borivali and Bandra. Sawarkar Shelters has been helpful by doing some great hard work. Rupesh Sawarkar is the chairman of Sawarkar Shelters who said that he is happy to see many people coming forward to fight coronavirus.
This is also helping many people to get access to food.
