The entire country is under the lockdown situation since mid-March, 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. While many cities in India are on the way of recovery, Mumbai continues to be in a critical condition as the cases continue to surge. Under such a situation good Samaritans like Salman Khan and Sonu Sood continue to give their best for the people who are in need.
Salman Khan’s Being Human foundation helped thousands of daily wage workers by transferring money directly to their accounts at a time when there was no work and they were left without food or ration. The actor even now continues to distribute food and ration kits in different areas of Mumbai. The Dabangg star also reached out to 5000 people with Eid kits during the Eid festival in Mumbai.
Sonu Sood has also taken up a different responsibility to send the migrant workers reach their homes by arranging buses from different places. The actor has reportedly also arranged help-lines for the workers who want to reach their respective homes in different parts of the country.
Sonu has so far arranged several buses for the workers and has offered the ride for free to about thousands of them so far. The number of COVID-19 infections has crossed 1.5 lakhs in the country.
