Kangana Ranaut has always been interested in filmmaking and her contribution towards the film Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi. The actress had earlier announced that a film would be made on Ayodhya under her banner. And now Kangana has confirmed that she will be directing the film that will be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, who had directed Baahubali. The film has been named as Aparajitha Ayodhya and will be based on the infamous Ram Mandir dispute and the court case that was related to it.
The actress released a statement which said that it wasn’t earlier planned that she would direct the film as she wanted to just produce it. Kangana Ranaut added that she wanted to rope in another director for the film and that at that time she was too busy to even think of direction. The Queen actress added that the script that was shared by Vijayendra Prasad was that of a large canvas and was similar to the historical film that she has done earlier.
Kangana added that she eventually decided to direct the film herself. Earlier, the actress had taken up the role of the director for her film Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi. There are also chances that the actress might not be acting in the film and would be focusing completely on direction.
