Sushmita Sen suffers heart attack

Indian actress Sushmita Sen took her Instagram account on March 2, 2023 while revealing that she suffered a heart attack recently. The actress shared a picture of herself with her father and added that she underwent an angioplasty. She shared the news to keep her fans updated.

Soon after the post went viral, concerned comments from fans and well-wishers started to pour in. Sushmita gave further details about her health while revealing that the cardiologist has also placed a stent and is thankful for many people’s timely help and constructive action. The actress added that she would share a separate post to thank them.

Sushmita also assured that all is well and that she is ready for some life again. The Aarya actress shared a happy picture with her father in which she can be seen wearing a heavy golden sari. The picture probably seemed from one of the family functions. On the work front, the actress will soon be seen in the third season of the web series Aarya. The first two seasons of the show had garnered a lot of attention from the viewers and proved to be an instant hit. The audience is now eagerly waiting for the upcoming season of the show which is ready to be premiered. The series has Sushmita play the role of Aarya Sareen. The first season was released in 2020 on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.

Sushmita Sen has not been very active in terms of movies in recent times and was last seen in the Bengali movie Nirbaak released in 2015. The actress made her debut with Mahesh Bhatt thriller Dastak in 1996. In the year 1999 Sushmita was seen in the film Biwi No 1. which had Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles. The actress also won a Filmfare Award for the Best Supporting Actress. Her next critically acclaimed film Sirf Tum which was a musical drama and also starred Sanjay Kapoor.
