Radhika Apte is one of the most talented actresses of Bollywood and is seen playing the lead in the film Mrs Undercover as she plays the role of Durga who is an undercover agent of the Special Force. The story of the film is about a serial killer, who has the tendency of killing women who are successful and work towards women empowerment. The killer has been christened as the ‘common man’.

The Special Force is hired to get hold of the serial killer, who turns out to be so smart that he also kills one of the under-cover agent of the agency. This is when they hire Durga played by Radhika Apte, who was trained long ago and has been out of touch while waiting to be hired on a mission. While thrillers could tend to be disturbing and violent, Mrs Undercover manages to grip the viewers with its comic timings.

Radhika has blended herself in to the character of a secret agent who is married and has a kid. Her comic timings are perfect. Her constant encounters with Rangeela played by Rakesh Sharma are the most entertaining factors. Being the lead, Radhika is surely a ray of sunshine in the film and never leaves the viewers with a dull moment. Another character worth a mention is Durga’s mother-in-law played by Laboni Sarkar, who is seen supporting her daughter-in-law’s decision to step out of the house.

The only drawback that could be pointed out is the lack of suspense as everything in Mrs Undercover is predictable. The first half of the film might give out hints about a prospective suspense, but there are no factors whatsoever. The climax is satisfying and the makers have also made it clear that Durga has her next mission ready. It is not clear as to when the makers would come up with the sequel. Overall it is a must watch and a clean entertainer.
