Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar to share screen space again in Jolly LLB 3

Indian film industry has not seen many hits and successes in recent times. To play it safe, filmmakers are taking the safe way to come up with movies that work the best. So the best way to play safe is to come up with sequels that appealed the audience. One such franchise that seems promising is Jolly LLB which already has two films under its umbrella. The first film had Arshad Warsi while the sequel to the courtroom drama had Akshay Kumar. To make it more interesting, Akshay Kumar will be teaming up with Arshad Warsi for the third installment.

Reports say that the upcoming film would be like a face-off between the two characters. Arshad during an interview with a leading daily confirmed about the project and said that Jolly LLB 3 is on the cards and is expected to go on floors in 2024. Warsi also confirmed that Munna Bhai 3 will not be happening despite that fact that Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Dutt and Vidhu Vinod Chopra want to make it happen.

Arshad has also expressed that he has hopes that Rohit Shetty would soon call him to shoot for Golmaal 5. If Jolly LLB 3 happens, this will be the third time Akshay and Arshad would be sharing the screen space together. They were last time paired for the film Bachchan Pandey, but the film could not perform well at the box office.

Akshay was last seen in the film Selfie in which he played the role of superstar Vijay Kumar. The Bollywood star is working on a number of projects including OMG 2, The Great Indian Rescue, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, sequel of Phir Hera Pheri, remake of Soorarai Pottru and more. Arshad was last seen in the film Bachchan Paandey in which he played the role of Vishu Kant Mhatre. If things materialize with Jolly LLB 3 then it would be interesting for the audience to watch Arshad and Akshay sharing the screen space again.
