Welcome 3 ready to go on floors

Indian actor Akshay Kumar is ready to feature in the third installment of the franchise Welcome. Yes Akshay is ready to reunite with producer Firoz Nadiadwala for the much awaited film. Apart from Akshay, the film also features Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt and others. This time the makers have announced a new title for the film as ‘Welcome To The Jungle’. The exciting part is that the film is ready to be released during Christmas 2024.

The original film Welcome was released in the year 2007. The second film was released in 2015 and was named Welcome Back. But the excitement also has a spoiler. Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor played the popular characters of Uday and Majnu. Unfortunately, the characters will not be reprised. This time Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt, the famous duo from Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. will be replacing them. Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez will be joining the project as the leading actresses. There are also reports that Suniel Shetty, who is also a good friend of Akshay, will also be a part of the film with a new character.

All the essential arrangements have been made and the film is ready to go on floors. Shoot locations have also been locked and the makers are currently working on the action scenes. An official announcement is currently being planned and a special photo shoot has also been done. Welcome franchise has a very special  place in the hearts of the audience as it has always managed to entertain the audience with its laughter riot.

The second film with John Abraham could not perform well at the box office. It was in 2018 when the makers had planned to announce the third film. But the film was delayed due to a number of reasons including the pandemic that hit in 2020. Once again the film will be directed by Anees Bazmee.
