BollywoodGaram.com: Two highly anticipated Bollywood movies – ‘Singh Saab The Great’ and ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein – have hit the silver screens at the same time, on November 22, 2013. The opening day for both movies seems to be disappointing, but reports said that the Sunny Deol starrer movie has done better than the Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer movie.
‘Singh Saab The Great’ collected Rs. 18.5 crores over the weekend, while ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ did not have a good weekend and managed to collect only Rs. 9.50 crores. When it comes to their box office collections, the difference between the two flicks is significant, but one has to wait and see how much the Imran Khan movie manages to score this week. It will also be interesting to see if Sunny manages to attract more moviegoers to his flick this time around.
‘Singh Saab The Great’ also has Amrita Rao and is a story about a common man who takes pride in his honesty. The movie is about Saranjeet Singh, a simple man who loves his family and values truth more than anything else.
On the other hand, ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ has Kareena and Imran and was originally supposed to have Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan. Khan backed out as he was not impressed with the script at first, but then returned to the project.
