Deepika Padukone offered 4 crores to perform 'Dum Maaro Dum' dance in private

Bollywood Garam: Actors and actresses in Bollywood indeed have a market value. This was proved by Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, when she was offered a whopping 4 crores to perform on the latest song ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ in private.

A wealthy NRI family in London had offered the actress a crore per minute to perform the four minute long song. The family had reportedly requested the actress to wear the same silver skirt she had worn in the song in the movie. The song failed to get enough attention due to defective choreography and lack of excitement, but the actress indeed managed to get some attention of the people with heavy pockets.

However, the actress begged to differ and turned down the lucrative offer. The ‘Om Shanti Om’ girl confirmed that no matter what, she won’t be performing in any of the private parties.

Unlike Deepika, Bollywood has in store some actresses, who do not mind performing in private, in consideration of money. Actresses like Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu and Rani Mukherji do not mind making some bucks by performing in private parties. There were also reports that actress Priyanka Chopra too was offered three crores to perform in a private New Years eve party, which was rejected by the actress.
