Pyaar Ka Punchnama movie review – Nothing interesting to offer?

Bollywood Garam: Bollywood movie ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ is an adult comedy movie directed by Luv Ranjan. The cast of the movie includes new faces Nushrat Bharucha, Sonali Sehgal, Ishita Sharma, Divyendu Sharma, Kartikeya Tiwari, and Rayo Bhakhirta.

The story of the movie revolves around three bachelors, who do not often interact with girls. When finally one day the guys fall in love and try their best to impress their girls. But later, their life becomes miserable due to the presence of the girls.

The movie – at many times – feels like it is dragged way too much. The girls in the movie are a big turn down and seem like amateur actors. The boys in the movie have performed a little better than the girls, but the right ratio of an interesting story line seems to be missing.

There is not much of sexual content in the movie, but just has a few jokes about sex and nothing in the movie is outrageously provocative. The first time director, Luv Ranjan has made Pyaar Ka Punchnama look vaguely similar to ‘Dil Chahta Hai’. Another disappointing part of the movie is the script and the dialogues, which fail to appeal to the audience. The first half of the movie may seem a bit funny, but later the funny portion starts to decline.

Overall, the movie is strictly recommended for those who are hunting for ways to kill time.
