BollywoodGaram.com: Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and PETA representatives met the Maharashtra State Forest Minister, Dr. Patangrao Kadam on January 20, 2014 in order to hand-deliver a letter in a case related to an abused elephant. In the case, PETA will seek to send the 14-year-old abused elephant Sunder to a sanctuary.
The case will be heard by the Bombay High Court on January 21, 2014.
In the letter, Rampal wrote that he is deeply saddened to learn that despite orders of the High Court of Bombay and Kadam’s orders, the young elephant has not been moved to a sanctuary where he can live his life free from chains and beatings.
