Shahrukh Khan and Rohit Shetty to team up for upcoming movie

BollywoodGaram.com: The famous actor-filmmaker duo – Shahrukh Khan and Rohit Shetty – are all set to work together again, following the success of their smash hit ‘Chennai Express’ in 2013. Initially, there were rumors that the director will come up with a sequel to ‘Chennai Express’.

However, the constant rumors were then denied by the makers and Rohit clarified that there are no plans for a sequel, as they do not have a script for it. At the same time, Rohit confirmed that he is teaming up with Shahrukh again, but denied to talk about it as the project is still in its early stages.

‘Chennai Express’ is a romantic comedy which also stars Deepika Padukone. The movie did well at the box office and also received positive reviews from the critics. The movie was directed by Rohit and was produced by Gauri Khan, under the production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. ‘Chennai Express’ was the second movie starring Shahrukh and Deepika, following the Farah Khan’s movie ‘Om Shanti Om’.

Another movie of the director, ‘Singham’ also proved to be a success among the audience and the sequel is being made by the makers, which will have Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. The movie is expected to be released on August 15, 2014.
