BollywoodGaram.com: Comedian and actor Sunil Grover – who was once part of the popular TV show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’ – was involved in a car accident. It has been reported that Grover’s BMW hit an Alto car which was coming from the opposite direction and had three passengers in Khargar, Mumbai on February 7, 2014.
Police officials said that the driver of Sunil lost control of the steering and hit the other vehicle which was coming from the opposite direction. Grover was reportedly not injured in the accident as he was sitting in the back seat. However, the three people travelling in the Alto car sustained injuries and were admitted to a hospital. Three people in the accident had only minor injuries and were admitted to a hospital in Kharghar.
Officials from the police informed that the driver lost control and jumped into a divider and then hit the Alto car. The driver of the BMW has been detained by the Kharghar police and a case has been registered against him.
The driver is also due to appear in court. Grover was reportedly on his way to attend a program, but the driver of the Alto car alleged that Sunil’s car was speeding and due to a tire burst, the driver lost control.
