Balika Vadhu cast celebrates completion of 1,500 episodes

BollywoodGaram.com: The entire cast of the popular TV series ‘Balika Vadhu’ came together to celebrate the completion of 1,500 episodes. Actors from the series, including Siddharth Shukla, Roop Durgapal, Smita Bansal, Anup Soni, Nivedita Kohli, Toral Rasputra, Surekha Sikri, Shashank Vyas, Sargun Mehta and husband Ravi Dubey, Chetanya Adib and Anjum Farooki attended the success bash.

The popular TV series is based on the age-old tradition of child marriage and how little daughters are forced to get married at a very young age and what difficulties they face in their life after marriage. The TV drama premiered on Colors TV on July 21, 2008.

The story of the show has been set in rural Rajasthan and began with the marriage of Anandi and Jagdish, when he was just 8 years old.
