The fashion event was organized in order to mark Deepika’s clothing line with Van Heusen. Girls on the ramp went through a grooming session, after which they walked the ramp with the ‘Cocktail’ actress.
Deepika designed the cute black dress which she wore on the ramp and said that it would be interesting to select girls who identify with the way she dresses. The beautiful actress went on to say that the girls who were selected for the ramp walk were not chosen on the basis of their looks or height, but were chosen randomly.
The actress also expressed that she has always been grateful to her fans.
