BollywoodGaram.com: Popular Bollywood lyricist Gulzar launched a painting exhibition ‘Epic On Rock Shelters’ by artist Ashok Bhowmick in Mumbai on April 15, 2014. In recent times, the lyricist has been honored with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
The title is considered to be the highest honor in Hindi cinema and is given to a person who worked hard in order to contribute to the movie industry. Gulzar expressed that he is happy to receive the award and is thankful to everyone, as well as the jury members.
The veteran lyricist went on to say that an award is a respect which says that an artist’s work is loved and that they are on the right path.
