Pregnant Aishwarya Rai replaced by Preity Zinta in Ladies and Gentlemen

Bollywood Garam: The whole of Bollywood is right now celebrating the good news that has been announced by the Bachchan family. Actress Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are soon going to be parents for the first time, but at the same time, there are questions arising as to how the couple will live up to their professional commitments.

Ash and Abhishek were supposed to star with each other for their upcoming romantic comedy movie ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’. The movie is supposed to be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and would feature the high-profile duo.

In the movie, the former Miss World winner was supposed to play the role of real-life hubby Abhishek’s love interest, but now Preity Zinta will be asked to play Ash’s role. Reports state that Bachchan Jr will enact the role of a Casanova in the film.

The report was confirmed by the director when he said that the fact that Abhishek and Ash are going to become parents matters much more than this movie. Since Abhishek and Preityhave been good friends for a long time, the actress was called in to play the role.

Sources from the production unit had also said that actresses like Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were also considered for the replacement for Ash. Ash’s pregnancy was announced by father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter. After the announcement, thousands of fans and celebrities had send the couple  congratulatory messages.
