Heroine movie shooting halted for Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy?

Bollywood Garam: Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, the soon to be mother, will still be a part of the upcoming project ‘Heroine’. Certain reports had emerged that the ‘Jodha Akbar’ actress will be dropped from the latest project of the popular film maker Madhur Bhandarkar, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

Just a while back, an announcement was made that the Bachchans are soon going to have a new family member. This was when the producers of the movie and  UTV alegedly decided that they would not be shooting any more.

A statement was issued by the production house which said that the shooting of the movie ‘Heroine’ is halted, as there is nothing more important than Aishwarya’s health and well being at the moment. The statement further added that the decision was taken mutually to halt the shooting.

The makers of the movie had considered that the shooting schedules would be more taxing for the actress and it may even affect her health. The statement added that they wished Abhishek Bachchan and Ash the best of the new phase of their life. During this time, many of the actor of the industry had shown interest in the project. Actress Priyanka Chopra had called up the director out of concern, when she heard that the movie was shelved.

But other reports state that the news of Ash’s pregnancy has seen several changes in the script, including the introduction of 2 new item numbers which has left Mrs. Bachchan quite shocked.  Well, time will tell which reports are really true.
