Bollywood Garam: As the release date of the directorial venture of Pankaj Kapur’s ‘Mausam’ approaches, actor Shahid Kapur who plays the lead role in the movie talks about how special the movie is for him. Shahid spoke out at the promotional event of a car music system company, Pioneer, of which he is a brand ambassador.
The actor said that since the movie is the first directorial venture of his father, it has a very special place in his heart. Shahid has not just played the lead role, but has also helped the movie is every possible way.
The ‘Jab We Met’ actor was available for his father to make the movie even more appealing for the audience. Shahid expressed that it is the first movie that was made as a family together. The movie is a love story and Shahid and Sonam have been paired for the first time.
The movie is all set to be released in 16th September 2011. In the movie, Shahid will be seen romancing with actress Sonam Kapoor. While the other movies too are slated to be released at the same time, Shahid is happy that the release dates will not be clashing with each other. The release of the movie Rockstar is been delayed to 11th November 2011.
