Bollywood Garam: Film maker Karan Johar has always been known for making larger than life movies in Bollywood. His movie ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ too had done well at the box office. After its success, Johar is now planning to make its sequel.
Karan confirmed the reports and said that he is planning to make a sequel to the movie and is all set to recreate the magic that was created in the year 2001. Earlier, the film maker wasn’t confident enough to make the sequel of the movie as he thought that it was financially impossible.
The movie had the cast of Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Jaya Bachchan. It was Amitabh, who had convinced Johar that it would be the most desirable movie for the audience.
With the sequel being planned, it would be interesting for the audience to see what happens next to the Raichand family after the reunion. Mr. Bachchan while talking about the sequel on his blog had said that it would be a story about the growth of the brothers and the problems they come across due to their independent understandings. Karan said that if he comes down to make the sequel then it would be the boldest step for him.
