Priyanka Chopra attends UNICEF event – Photos

Priyanka Chopra lends to a good cause.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who is the goodwill ambassador of UNICEF in India attended program ‘Deepshikha’. The program is an initiative by the UNICEF in India which aims at empowering young adolescent girls.

Priyanka looked her sober best as she spotted an elegant chudidar and silver mojris.

At the event, Chopra talked about the need to correct the remuneration gap that exists in the film industry, as well as the gender discrimination in families across the country.

The ‘Barfi’ actress interacted with many little under-privileged girls at the event and also happily obliged to requests of photos and autographs.

The actress has just completed shooting for her Mary Kom biopic. Priyanka underwent extensive training for her role of a boxer and even spent time with the real-life athlete – Mary Kom.
