Actors Adil Hussain and Priyanka Bose attended the book launch of writer and journalist Sreemoyee Piu Kundu. Kundu launched her book ‘Sita’s Curse’ at Hotel Le Sutra in Union Park in Mumbai on June 10, 2014.
Theatre personality Mahabanoo Mody Kotwal also attended the launch event and even read out a few excerpts from the book. Director Soumik Sen, publisher Nandita Agarwal, Alex O’Neil and Ananya Dutta also attended the event.
The book is about longing, sex, love, sexuality and sin from the eyes of a 40-year old Mrs. Meera Patel who lives in a congested housing society in Mumbai. The author has narrated the story of Mrs. Meera Patel on how she fulfills her desires in life.
