Aishwarya Rai to celebrate 38th birthday with family

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai who is these days making news due to her pregnancy has turned 38 on 1st November. Rai is in the ninth month of her pregnancy and reports have said that the baby is expected to be born on 11th November 2011.

Ash has planned that she would celebrate her birthday along with her close friends and family. Reports have also said that a grand birthday party would be hosted by the Bachchans, who are all set to welcome their new grand child at home.

The family had recently also hosted a grand baby shower bash where many of the female celebrities including Twinkle Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Saroj Khan Vaibhavi Merchant and Neeta Ambani. Ash’s pregnancy was announced by an excited father of Abhishek Bachchan.

Amitabh had announced the good news on Twitter after which the page was flooded with congratulatory messages. This had followed by Ash quitting Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’. Rai’s role will now be played by Kareena Kapoor, who was the original choice of Bhandarkar. Aishwarya had started off her career in Bollywood in the year 1997. The movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ of Ash opposite Salman Khan had shot her to popularity in the industry. Rai has also worked in many south Indian films.
