Chitrangada Singh to do item song in ‘Joker’ to compete against Sonkashi Sinha

Bollywood actress Chitrangada Singh is the next actress, who will also be doing an item song in the movie ‘Joker’ by Shirish Kunder, apart from Sonakshi Sinha. Singh will be dancing to the tunes of ‘Kaafirana’ that will be choreographed by Farah Khan.

In the song Sonakshi and the lead actor Akshay Kumar will be seen watching Singh perform. When asked the director of the movie, Kunder admitted that Sonakshi has her own space of item song in the movie, while Singh will be performing on a different song.

Talking about the song Shirish said that it has a different feel and is completely different from that of Sonakshi’s. Kunder added that they were in search of a fresh face for the rusty item song and Singh has not done any item songs before.

This will be the first time Chitrangada will be seen doing a sensuous and sexy item song. The director even said that they did not go for the regular item girls of the industry and wanted some fresh face for the song. As Chitrangada is a fresh face it would be refreshing for the audience to see a new face in an item song.
