Director David Dhawan’s son Rohit Dhawan has made his directorial debut with the movie ‘Desi Boyz’ starring Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Anupam Kher and Chitrangada Singh. The audience after the movie ‘Garam Masala’ would get to see the Akshay and John duo on screen with the same fun quotient.
The movie is about two room mates Akshay Kumar and John Abraham who play the role of Jerry Patel and Nick Mathur respectively. Jerry has a responsibility of taking care of his sister’s orphan son, while Nick the high profile MBA has an expensive girlfriend, who wants to get married soon.
Akshay in the movie is happy with his job of a sweeper, while Nick dreams big to have a big house with a wife like Deepika Padukone. Unfortunately, the two become victims of the global recession and become jobless.
Jerry then thinks of an idea and convinces Nick to get rolled in Sanjay Dutt’s company ‘Desi Boys’ which hires made escorts even in the time of recession.
