Sri Lankan Beauty Jacqueline Fernandez sashayed down the ramp in a bridal avatar on Day 2 of Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 (LFW) in Mumbai on August 20, 2014. The actress was seen in an Anju Modi creation at the event.

Modi showcased her latest collection ‘Manikarnika’ at the LFW/Winter Festive 2014. The collection drew inspiration from some vintage and old style fashion elements.

The official Twitter handle of the LFW posted, “Jacqueline Fernandez looks the surreal bride as show stopper for Reliance Jewels presents Anju Modi.”

Jacqueline looked exquisite in a richly embroidered lehenga and choli ensemble. The ruby-hued jewellery completed the ornate bridal look.

Designer Modi’s collection aimed to showcase some ancient artisan techniques which are increasingly becoming extinct. 

Indian-styled garments such as kurtas, skirts, lehengas, saris, net embroidered kurtas, floor length angarkhas and sherwanis with slim trousers dominated the ramp.

Jacqueline’s last release ‘Kick’ opposite Salman Khan, was a compete money-spinner at the box office. The actress is now busy prepping for upcoming movies like ‘Roy’, ‘Bangistan’ and ‘According to Mathew’- which is an English language movie.
