Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 Photos – Tabu walks for Priyadarshini Rao

Ethnic elegance sweeps the runway as Tabu walks for Priyadarshini Rao at the LFW 2014 grand finale.

Indian designer Priyadarshini Rao showcased her collection ‘Ode To Indigo’ on the final day of the Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2014 on August 24, 2014. Bollywood actress Tabu sashayed down the ramp looking absolutely elegant in a flowing black creation, the hints of red and gold added just the right element of color.

Rao’s color palate made use of some vivid blues – sky, water and mountain blue. The fabrics that dominated were Chanderi, dyed silk, georgette and chiffon. Rao’s collection gave a makeover to the 20s era with hemlines and trapeze shapes.

The sartorial ensemble also had roomy pants, tunics, sheer overcoats, dresses and wraps made in brocade, chikankari, antique embroidery, paisleys, geometric prints and florals.
