After creating sensation all over the country with the song ‘Kolaveri Di’ from the Tamil movie ‘3’, south actor Dhanush is now all set to kick start his Bollywood career. Dhanush has recently signed for his first Bollywood movie along with director Aanand L Rai.
Rai is known for his work in the movie ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ and is now making ‘Raanjhnaa’ with the 28 year old actor. The south super star said that it is a big deal to get a launch like this at the beginning of his career in Bollywod.
Dhanush seems to be impressed by the script of the movie and said that it is one of those unique movies which are made to make a difference. The director was impressed by Dhanush’s performance in the Tamil movie ‘Aadukalam’, for which the actor has also won a National Award.
Rai said that he wanted a very simple looking boy to play the role in the movie. The director added that after looking at Dhanush in the Tamil movie he was sure that the actor looked very ordinary and honest and that was the demand of the character. Aanand Rai added that the movie is an intense love story and is similar to that of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’.
