Bollywood’s celebrity photographers Atul Kasbekar and Dabboo Ratnani attended the ‘Nanhi Kali’ event held at Mahindra Towers in Worli, Mumbai on September 20, 2014. The Project Nanhi Kali is an initiative which works for the betterment of underprivileged girls in India.

The initiative also makes sure that the girls get their right to receive quality education. The organisers of the project select girls for the ‘Nanhi Kali’ and these girls receive financial as well as academic support.

Special classes are organised for maths, science and languages. The project also pays for the supplementary costs of the education including notebooks, school uniforms, bags, pencils and shoes.
