Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and the makers of ‘Mary Kom’ came together to celebrate the success of the biopic. The ‘Barfi’ actress was seen at the post release promotion that took place at the Usha International event held at Mumbai on September 20, 2014.
The actress at the event appeared in a traditionally tuned white and black outfit. The movie ‘Mary Kom’ hit the theaters on September 5, 2014 and has received a good response so far.
Priyanka worked hard to play the role of a female boxer, which narrated the journey of Indian boxing champion Mary Kom and how she struggled to follow her passion. Chopra reportedly visited Mary’s hometown to study and know more about the boxer.
