Alia Bhatt launches her own clothing line with Jabong.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is slowly and steadily climbing her way up the fashionista ladder. After giving us a taste of her spunky but youthful style in movies like ‘2 States’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’, the 21-year-old has now turned fashion designer with her latest collection – Alia Bhatt – in collaboration with online retail giant Jabong.com.
The collection was launched at an event in Mumbai on September 29, 2014.
The actress also walked the ramp in a snug black leather dress and matching trendy boots.
Arun Chandra, the CEO and founder at Jabong.com said, “We have been looking for someone who is young, confident, stylish and has a great connect with the youth, who better than Alia Bhatt who has ingenious sense of style and knack for fashion to be associated with.”
Alia won’t be the first actor to don the fashion designer cape, filmmaker Karan Johar and actress Shilpa Shetty have also ventured into the world of fashion with their invidual couture lines
The designs by Alia reflects her personal sense of style.
