The cast of Bollywood film ‘Happy New Year’ (HNY) launched the trailer fo the movie for the first time, at Sri Palam Silk Saris in Chennai on October 3, 2014. The HNY cast Deepika Padukone, Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani and Sonu Sood were present at the event as guests of the annual fashion show.
Palam Silks were the sari partners for the blockbuster movie ‘Chennai Express’ and this time they played hosts by inviting the entire cast of HNY for the annual fashion show. Padukone expressed, “It’s great to be back in Chennai. I’ve spent a fair bit of time in my childhood in Chennai and the love and affection shown by the city towards us the last time ensured that we had to include it as a stop
in our promotional plans for Happy New Year.”
The movie ‘Happy New Year’ is produced under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment and is directed by Farah Khan. HNY is expected to be one of the bigger movies of 2014 and is expected to make a big impact this festive season.
The comedy drama movie also features Jackie Shroff and Vivaan Shah and is all set to hit the theaters on October 24, 2014.
