Indian designer Urvashi Kaur presented her ‘Breezy’ collection on Day 4 of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week 2015 on October 11, 2014 in New Delhi. She brought back the Baatik print, which is a typical Bengali hand block print. Some sarees and silhouettes were decorated with the Baatik print.
Urvashi used a colour palette of Indigo. Indigo is a popular summer colour and Kaur blended it with black, white and prints to create aesthetic outfits. The designer used cotton as her primary material, which is a cool and light material that is perfect for the summer.
All her designs had one thing in common, they were aimed at keeping the body cool at all times. Among prints, there were checks, stripes and Baatik prints.
