Sharad Kelkar to replace Mohnish Behl in ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’

TV actor Mohnish Behl, who stars in the popular series ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge’ will soon be leaving the show. The makers of the series have also found a replacement and roped in Sharad Kelkar for the role of Dr. Ashutosh.

Kelkar says that he will not be copying Behl’s style but will just play the lead character. The actor added that the director wanted someone with certain amount of maturity and that he fitted in perfectly.

Sharad also clarified that he is not stepping in to Mohnish’s shoes but is stepping in to the character’s shoes. The actor while talking about Mohnish’s contribution said that he acted very well and was brilliant on the show but is not going to copy him.

Kelkar said that he has his own style and attitude when it comes to acting and no two actors can be the same. The actor hopes that the viewers like him in his own avatar and not compare him to Behl. Before beginning the shoot for the series, the actor did a two day work shop with the other actors on the show. Sharad while talking about the industry said that it does not have any roles for the senior experienced actors.
