TV stars attended the launch event of the Box Cricket League Team Mumbai Warriors in Mumbai on November 4, 2014. The launch event was attended by actors Karan Tacker and Krystle D’Souza among others.
The Box Cricket League is a unique concept that will involve 150 tv stars coming together and playing in an underarm box cricket tournament. Like the name suggests, the game will be played in a closed space and with a soft tennis ball, unlike the regular leather ball that is used in cricket matches.
The Celebrity Box Cricket League was established in 2011 and will have teams based on regions like Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, etc.
