Bipasha Basu roped in for remake of ‘Shaukeen’

Bollywood actress and item girl, Bipasha Basu after playing several strong roles in movies, has now been roped in for the remake of the 1982 blockbuster movie ‘Shaukeen’. The actress in the movie will be seen playing the role of a seductress and will be directed by Rohit Roy.

Reports say that the remake of the movie will not be a replica of the original. The makers of the remake have kept in mind the elapse of 30 years since its release.

So the movie will be made keeping in mind the context of the day. Roy while talking to a daily confirmed the news and said that it has been thirty years since the release of the movie due to which they had to change the story accordingly.

The director added that there will be three sixty year old men in the movie who will be seen lusting for a girl like it was in the original. To make things more clearer, the director said that it is like ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ meets 1982 ‘Shaukeen’. While talking about the story Roy revealed that the three men in the movie have always gone out for trips once every five years and that this is their last.
