Indian singing veteran Asha Bhonsle inaugurated Paramesh Paul’s exhibition ‘Glory of Ganges’ at the Jehangir Art Gallery at Kalaghoda in Mumbai on August 18, 2015. The singer for the event looked graceful in a blue sari and lighted the inaugural lamp at the event.
Bhonsle at the event interacted with the media and said “I loved all of Paramesh Paul’s paintings and among all installations, I liked the Damroo the most. I haven’t been to Benaras yet, but after seeing these lovely paintings, I definitely want to go there soon.”
The launch event was also attended by Paramesh’s wife Lipi Paul, mother Usha Rani Paul and son Pradyot Paul.
