Amitabh Bachchan and Ratan Tata spread TB awareness – Photos

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan along with Ratan Tata and the United States Ambassador to India Richard Varma launched the ‘Mumbai Dialogue: Towards a TB free India at an event in Mumbai on September 11, 2015. The new move has been taken by a group of corporate leaders in an attempt to eradicate TB.

Tuberculosis has been one of the deadliest diseases in the country and Amitabh Bachhan himself was suffering from TB in 2000 and said, “if this disease can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.”

Mr Tata at the event called for a collective response in this epidemic by corporate and communities.
