Filmmaker Meghna Gulzar promoted her upcoming movie ‘Talvar’ at an event in Mumbai on September, 2015. Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj is the producer of the flick and is a great support.
Gulzar at the event said, “Vishal ji was like a great support on this because this subject and the genre are completely unknown to me.” The filmmaker talked high about Bharadwaj and added that he is an accomplished writer.
Meghna is the daughter of the veteran lyricist Gulzar and yesteryear actress Rakhee. This is the first time the filmmaker has tried her hands on a crime based movie. Reports say that the movie is based on the infamous Arushi Talwar murder case.
